The Tissington Trail is the former London and North Western Railway (LNWR) between Buxton and Ashbourne. Starting from Parsley Hay Cycle Hire; just a short 30 minute drive from the Portland Hotel, you can follow the trail all the way to Ashbourne. Suitable for walkers, cyclists and wheelchair friendly its a great family day out passing through 13 miles of Peak District National Park.
